These three photos are my mum and dad. The top two were taken of each other by my mum and dad on Brighton’s Palace Pier in September 1967 when they’d recently got together. Exactly 40 years later I went to Brighton for a day out with my parents and I took a picture of them on the pier. The bottom pic is my mum and dad in September 2007. I think it’s fascinating as a comparison.
It was freezing the day we went in 2007 with hardly any wind. Mum wouldn’t be wearing that little on the pier now, that’s for sure! Brr! :-D
